On the 2nd and 4th Sundays we host a special Social Justice Mass that is designed to include the public.
We provide a short communion for those who wish to participate and then engage in lively discussion on a relevant Social Justice Topic.
This event often features guests from local and statewide Social Service groups who present an educational forum on the topic of the day. This is often moderated by our Rector in a question and answer format with audience participation.
This service serves to enlighten our members and the community on current topics and engages members and the community in advocacy and activism.
It allows us not only to not only evaluate our own perspective on an issue but it encourages us to become engaged and inspire others to volunteerism and participation in making our community and state a more tolerant and accepting place for marginalized populations.
We invite you come and share in this dynamic new manner of exploring our own individual spirituality.
